Supported Input and Output Formats

Input formats (what you can upload):

  • MP4 (recommended — fastest processing)
  • MOV (Apple QuickTime), M4V and 3GP
  • MKV
  • WebM
  • MTS and M2TS (AVCHD camcorders)
  • AVI (Xvid, DivX, MJPEG)
  • WMV and ASF (Windows Media)
  • MPG, MPEG and VOB (MPEG-1 and MPEG-2, DVD)
  • FLV (Flash video)

Inside those files we read H.264, H.265 (HEVC), AV1, VP9, VP8, Apple ProRes, MPEG-2, Xvid/DivX and Windows Media Video.

Output formats:

  • Spatial Video (MV-HEVC) — for Apple Vision Pro
  • Full Side-by-Side (SBS) MP4 — for Meta Quest and other VR headsets

Upload limits:

  • Maximum video length: 30 minutes
  • Frame rate: any — above 60 fps (slow motion, action cameras) is delivered at 60 fps
  • Maximum resolution: up to 8K on every bundle — see "Video Upload Limits" for the details

360 video: we detect this automatically by the shape of the file. A real 360 video is exactly twice as wide as it is tall (a 2:1 aspect ratio). We cannot turn a normal, flat video into 360, because the rest of the sphere was never filmed.

For best results, upload your video in the highest quality available. The conversion preserves the original resolution and audio track.
