Cleaner, more natural 3D
Your videos now look sharper and calmer in 3D. Outlines are cleaner, around hair, hands and arms against the background. Depth feels more natural and holds together better in busy scenes. And with the Cinema setting, part of the picture now comes towards you, for a stronger sense of being there.
Faster than real time
Measured on clips of about a minute:
- 4K at 30 fps (60 seconds of video): from about 90 seconds to 55 seconds, faster than the video itself.
- 4K at 60 fps (60 seconds of video): from 136 seconds to about 60 seconds.
- HDR from an iPhone (4K at 60 fps, 50 seconds of video): from 104 seconds to 67–79 seconds.
That is the conversion itself; uploading depends on your connection. In practice: by the time you have put on your headset, a short video is ready.
