You get a spatial video file
It carries a separate picture for each eye, which is what visionOS expects. A side-by-side file plays on a Vision Pro as well, but this is the format it actually prefers.
How you watch it on a Vision Pro
- Download the converted spatial video to your Mac or iPhone.
- On a Mac: AirDrop it to the Vision Pro, or add it to Photos so it syncs over iCloud.
- On an iPhone: save it to Photos, where spatial videos sync automatically.
- Open Photos on the Vision Pro and play it.
Unlike a Quest, a Vision Pro will not let a website take over the display, so this goes through the file rather than the browser. You can also open the file straight from the Files app or iCloud Drive.

Will it show as a spatial video in Photos?
Yes. Once it has synced, it appears with the spatial video indicator and plays with real depth when you tap it.
Can I watch it straight from the browser?
Not the way you can on a Quest. Safari on visionOS does not let a website take over the display, so the file route through Photos is the reliable one.
Does it still work on a Mac or iPhone?
Yes. On a normal screen it plays as an ordinary video. The depth only shows up on the Vision Pro.
