Can I Re-Convert a Video If I Am Not Happy With the Result?

Yes. If a converted video did not turn out the way you hoped — for example you picked the wrong preset, or the depth effect is not quite what you expected — you can re-upload the source and run the conversion again with different settings.

How it works:

• A re-conversion is treated as a new conversion — it uses minutes from your balance again.
• Pick a different preset (Cinema / Comfort / Aggressive) or a different output format (Spatial Video vs Full SBS) and run it again.

When the result is bad due to a technical issue (encoding errors, audio loss, broken file), please contact support with your video ID. We refund the minutes consumed by failed conversions — those are on us, not you.

When the source itself is the limit:

AI 2D-to-3D works best with content that has clear foreground/background separation, camera motion, and varied subject distances. Some material — flat screen recordings, talking-head close-ups against a uniform backdrop, animation that already used a fixed-distance camera — simply does not contain enough depth cues for any preset to produce a strong 3D effect.
